Marc Pierre Joins Gallant Capital

Los Angeles, CA – October 9, 2020 – Gallant Capital Partners (“Gallant”), is pleased to announce that Marc Pierre has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Head of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).

“Marc is an outstanding and key addition to the growing Gallant team,” said Gallant Partners Jon Gimbel, Anthony Guagliano, and Desmond Nugent. “Marc’s extensive accounting, controllership, corporate finance and investing experience makes him uniquely positioned to succeed as our first CFO, CCO and Head of ESG and assist in driving the growth of Gallant.”

Prior to joining Gallant, Pierre was an Investment Professional at Alignment Credit where he led sourcing and execution of investments in late stage venture and middle market companies. Prior to Alignment Credit, Pierre was a technology investment banker at Piper Jaffray and previously was Portfolio Controller at Summit Rock Advisors. Pierre started his career as an auditor in the alternative investment management group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Pierre earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting summa cum laude from Monroe College. Pierre is also a Certified Public Accountant.

In addition to the hiring of Mr. Pierre, Gallant also announced today that James Simpson joined the firm as an associate. Prior to joining Gallant, Simpson was an analyst at Centerview Partners.
