Jon is a founding Partner at Gallant Capital and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s activities. Prior to founding Gallant in 2018, Jon was responsible for leading investments for Gores Small Capitalization Partners and was a member of the Gores Small Capitalization Partners Investment Committee. Prior to joining Gores in 2003, Jon was an Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and leveraged finance transactions in the Media and Telecommunications group. Jon serves on the Board of Directors of all Gallant portfolio companies. Jon is also an active member of the Board of Directors of Ready to Succeed, an organization that empowers youth impacted by foster care to graduate college, launch successful careers, and reach their full potential. Jon received a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting with Honors from the University of Texas, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Chris is responsible for sourcing, structuring, financing and executing investments at Gallant Capital. Prior to joining Gallant, Chris was an investment professional at EQT Partners in New York, focused on evaluating and executing investment opportunities across a range of sectors. Prior to joining EQT Partners, he was an investment professional at The Gores Group in Los Angeles, where he evaluated and executed investment opportunities in the technology, business services, industrials and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining The Gores Group, Chris worked in the investment banking division at J.P. Morgan in Los Angeles. Chris serves on the Board of Directors of Quality Built, Pro-Vac, and SLWM. Chris received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Ian is an Associate at Gallant Capital Partners and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. Prior to joining Gallant, Ian was an investment banking analyst at DC Advisory in San Francisco. Ian received a B.S. in Business Administration from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
Roger is responsible for driving operational transformations in the portfolio companies at Gallant Capital. Prior to Gallant, Roger was Chief Financial Officer at Dial packaging, a commercial printer. Prior to Dial packaging, Roger was VP of Finance at Edelbrock corporation. Roger spent first 19 years of his career at multinational corporations – Eaton and Schneider Electric, where he held various leadership positions in FP&A, M&A, controllership, ERP implementations, business transformation and continuous improvement. Roger received a B.S. in Animal Science from National Taiwan University and an M.B.A. from Western Carolina University.
Jaski is a Senior Associate at Gallant Capital Partners and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. Prior to joining Gallant, Jaski was a Senior Associate at Endeavour Capital in Los Angeles, focused on evaluating and executing investment opportunities across multiple sectors. Prior to joining Endeavour, he worked as an Associate at McCarthy Capital, a Midwest based private equity firm making growth-oriented equity investments. Jaski began his career in the corporate finance & restructuring segment at FTI Consulting. Jaski earned a B.S.B.A. in finance and economics from the Heider College of Business at Creighton University.
Kolton is an Associate at Gallant Capital Partners and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. Prior to joining Gallant, Kolton was an investment banking analyst in the Consumer Retail Group at Barclays. Kolton received a B.S. in Finance, summa cum laude, from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
Matt is responsible for performing operational due diligence and overseeing the portfolio companies at Gallant Capital. Prior to Gallant, Matt was a Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Aventiv Technologies, a Platinum Equity owned portfolio company, where he oversaw operations for Aventiv’s North America business. Prior to becoming Aventiv’s COO, he was a Vice President with Platinum Equity in Los Angeles. At Platinum Equity, Matt held operational leadership positions and was responsible for portfolio company financial performance oversight, partnering with the management teams to drive top-line and bottom-line improvement. Matt earned his MBA from Columbia University, his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the United State Military Academy – West Point and was a former U.S. Army infantry officer.
Brad is Head of Capital Markets at Gallant Capital and responsible for all aspects of raising debt capital and equity co-investments for new platform investments and existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining Gallant, Brad was a Managing Director at Comvest Credit Partners and Monroe Capital and Principal at American Capital focused on originating, structuring, underwriting, and monitoring credit investments. Brad was also a senior investment banker at B. Riley and Lehman Brothers focused on M&A and financial sponsor coverage. Brad began his career as a certified public accountant at Ernst & Young. Brad received a B.S. in Accounting at the University of Southern California.
Dan is a Vice President at Gallant Capital Partners and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. Prior to joining Gallant, Dan was an associate at Pearl Energy Investments in Dallas, focused on evaluating and executing investment opportunities in the energy sector. Prior to joining Pearl, he worked in the investment banking division at Deutsche Bank. Dan received a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jamie is responsible for sourcing and assessing investment opportunities, managing relationships with transaction advisors, and leading the firm’s marketing strategy. Prior to Gallant, Jamie was the Head of Corporate Development & Strategy at Presto (Nasdaq: PRST). Prior to Presto, Jamie was a member of the business development team at Platinum Equity, where she led deal origination and managed strategic relationships with investment banks, corporate sellers and other deal intermediaries. She started her career as an investment analyst at J.P. Morgan and Merrill Lynch. Jamie holds a B.A. in Political Science with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles where she was a member of the Division 1 Women’s Golf Team and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jo is responsible for performing operational due diligence and driving operational transformations in the portfolio companies at Gallant Capital. Prior to Gallant, Jo served as CFO and COO at a wide range of companies. Most recently, she was Interim CFO of Abrigo, a private equity-backed fintech company servicing banks and financial institutions, and prior to that was CFO of MIND Research, an edtech company providing software to elementary schools nationwide. In addition to her experience in SaaS, Jo has also held leadership positions in licensing and merchandising, e-commerce, media services, entertainment, and renewable energy, in both the US and Europe. Jo began her career in banking. She earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and her Bachelor’s degree from Harvard College.
Ava is responsible for supporting fund administration, finance and tax compliance. Prior to joining Gallant, Ava was a tax manager at Blum Capital Partners and a finance and tax manager at Venrock, both alternative asset investment firms based in San Francisco, CA. Prior to Venrock, Ava was a senior associate at KPMG and Ernst & Young providing tax compliance services for asset management companies. Ava received a M.S. and B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University and is a 2024 MBA candidate at Haas Business School at UC Berkeley.
Cameron is a Business Development Analyst at Gallant Capital Partners and is responsible for researching prospective investment targets and industries, sourcing investment opportunities, and actively managing a pipeline of opportunities and intermediaries. Cameron holds a B.A. in Business-Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Kristian is a Vice President at Gallant Capital responsible for sourcing and assessing investment opportunities as well as managing relationships with investment banks, corporate sellers, and other transaction advisors. Prior to Gallant, Kristian was a Senior Associate at OpenGate Capital focused on business development across the Technology and Industrials sectors. Prior to OpenGate Capital, Kristian worked as an Associate at Vaquero Capital and an Analyst at White Oak Global Advisors. Kristian holds a B.S. in International Business from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business.
Desmond is responsible for performing operational due diligence and overseeing the portfolio companies at Gallant Capital. Prior to Gallant, Desmond was a Managing Director at OpenGate Capital where he led operational due diligence and oversaw operations for the firm’s North American portfolio companies. Prior to OpenGate, he was a Principal with The Gores Group in Los Angeles where he worked alongside Jon and Anthony. At OpenGate and Gores, Desmond held board and operational leadership positions and was responsible for portfolio company financial oversight, partnering with the management teams to drive revenue growth, operational effectiveness, and profit improvement. Desmond received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Accounting from the University of Ulster, Belfast, Northern Ireland, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Queens University of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and an M.B.A from Columbia University.
Peter is responsible for performing operational due diligence and driving operational transformations in the portfolio companies at Gallant Capital. Prior to Gallant, Peter was Chief Financial Officer at The McClatchy Company, a national newspaper media chain. Before his appointment as CFO, he served as McClatchy’s Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to McClatchy, Peter was Director of Accounting at The Boeing Company, where he led domestic and international teams in the areas of accounting, shared services, customer financing and systems implementation. Peter has also held leadership positions at Allianz SE and Deloitte & Touche, LLP, and he served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Peter received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Professional Accountancy from Montana State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Spencer is an Associate at Gallant Capital Partners and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. Prior to joining Gallant, he worked in the Financial Sponsors and Gaming/Lodging investment banking divisions at Credit Suisse in Los Angeles. Spencer received a B.S. in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
Zack is responsible for sourcing, structuring, financing and executing investments at Gallant Capital. Prior to joining Gallant, Zack was a Principal at Corridor Capital in Los Angeles. Prior to Corridor Capital, he was a Vice President at Lindsay Goldberg in New York. Prior to Lindsay Goldberg, Zack was an Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Global Consumer & Retail group. Zack was also the cofounder and CEO of Bungalow Insurance, an insurance technology company, from its founding in 2014 through its sale to a strategic competitor in 2018. Zack serves on the Boards of Directors of InformData, Lightning Step and Arctiq and previously served on the Boards of Directors of Arvan, Big Ass Fans, CEO Warrior, Nationwide Property and Appraisal Solutions, Refresh Mental Health, U.S. Industrial Tool & Supply Company, and World Wide Land Transfer. Zack received a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from Duke University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Ava is an Associate at Gallant Capital Partners and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. Prior to joining Gallant, she worked in the investment banking division at Imperial Capital. Ava received a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.
Paul is responsible for performing operational due diligence and overseeing portfolio companies at Gallant Capital. Prior to Gallant, Paul was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company in New Jersey, where he served private and public companies on top- and bottom-line value creation, end-to-end M&A strategic planning and execution, and enterprise and portfolio strategy. Before joining McKinsey & Company, he worked in Finance at Medtronic and in KPMG’s Financial Audit and Turnaround & Restructuring practices. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Accounting from the University of Galway, Ireland, and an M.B.A from The University of Chicago.
Marc is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s operations, finance, compliance and ESG activities. Prior to joining Gallant, Marc was an Investment Professional at Alignment Credit where he led sourcing and execution of investments in late stage venture and middle market companies. Prior to Alignment Credit, Marc was a technology investment banker at Piper Jaffray and previously was Portfolio Controller at Summit Rock Advisors. Marc started his career as an auditor in the alternative investment management group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Marc received a B.B.A in Accounting summa cum laude from Monroe College, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Marc is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Harish is an Associate at Gallant Capital Partners and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and portfolio company monitoring. Prior to joining Gallant, he worked in the Industrials investment banking division at Lincoln International in Los Angeles. Harish received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Tyler is responsible for performing operational due diligence and overseeing the portfolio companies at Gallant Capital. Prior to Gallant, Tyler was the Chief Financial Officer at Fresh Clean Threads, a venture capital-backed e-commerce apparel retailer. Previously, Tyler was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company where he served leading private equity firms on transaction due diligence and large public companies on strategic, financial, and operational matters. Before McKinsey, Tyler was an investment professional at Sageview Capital, Barclays Capital Special Situations Group, and OMERS.
Tyler received a Bachelor of Commerce (honors) degree from Queen’s University. He is a CFA Charterholder.
Anthony is a founding Partner at Gallant Capital and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s activities. Prior to founding Gallant in 2018, Anthony was responsible for leading investments at The Gores Group. Prior to joining Gores in 2011, Anthony was a Managing Director with Moelis & Company where he led M&A execution for transactions across various industries including technology, business services, consumer and retail, media, healthcare and biotechnology. Prior to joining Moelis, Anthony was a Vice President at UBS where he led the execution on a variety of assignments, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt security underwritings, and other advisory assignments. Anthony also previously worked as the Director of Finance at Nomadix, Inc and was an Analyst at DLJ. Anthony serves on the Board of Directors of all Gallant portfolio companies. Anthony received a B.A. in Business Administration with Honours from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Cindy is responsible for performing Human Capital due diligence and driving Talent transformations across the portfolio of companies at Gallant Capital.
Prior to Gallant, Cindy was Chief Human Resources Officer at Aventiv Technologies, a Platinum Equity owned portfolio company, leading a successful HR and culture transformation strategy. In addition to owning her own HR consulting practice specializing in Talent management and organizational development, she previously worked at Alcon Laboratories, a Novartis company as Global Head of HR Business Optimization. Prior to joining Alcon, Cindy spent eight years in Talent roles at Deloitte including Managing Director serving the U.S. Risk and Financial Advisory practice. Cindy previously worked as National Human Resources Director at Grant Thornton leading the successful carve-out of its consulting organization to form Hitachi Consulting.
Cindy received a B.B.A. in Business Management from Dallas Baptist University.

Gallant’s investment was made in partnership with management and selling shareholders.
Lightning Step is a rapidly growing, fully integrated enterprise software provider purpose-built for the behavioral health industry. Lightning Step’s all-in-one software platform, including EMR, RCM, and CRM technology, helps its customers reduce overhead, manage admissions, and improve billing and collections, allowing them to focus on what matters – providing quality care to their patients.
SLWM focuses on providing a fully outsourced, tech-enabled managed service offering that is deeply embedded in customer operations and systems in order to streamline procurement, fulfillment, and execution of traditional marketing collateral such as signage and point of sale materials.
Pro-Vac is a leading provider of subsurface infrastructure services in the Pacific Northwest. The Company provides hydro excavation, stormwater and sewer systems maintenance, pipeline jetting, pipeline repair grouting, CCTV pipe inspections, vacuum sweeping and other specialty services.
